Spring 2008 Sponsored Projects Brio Training
We are pleased to announce the Spring, 2008 training classes for using Brio with the Sponsored Projects Data Warehouse. Training is required before Brio access to the Sponsored Data Warehouse can be granted.
These half-day, hands-on classes cover an overview of the sponsored data, introduction to the Brio tool, and a set of lab exercises for practicing your skills. Because two skill levels are offered, you only need to sign up for one class.
1. Novice - for those who have never used Brio. The class includes an introduction to Brio and lab exercises using the Sponsored Projects Data Warehouse.
2. Experienced - for those who have used Brio with the Student or Accounting data warehouses and now wish to gain proficiency in using Brio with the Sponsored Projects Data Warehouse. This class is also recommended for previous attendees who wish to refresh their skills.
Class schedule:
Brio Novice - Thursday, January 17
Brio Experienced - Thursday, February 21
Brio Novice - Thursday, March 20
Brio Experienced - Thursday, April 17
Complete class information, including time and location, can be found on the registration page: http://www.research.cornell.edu/Registrations/Workshops/Brio/registration.cfm. Use the pulldown menu to select the desired class. Each class is limited to 10 users. If you register for a class and are unable to attend please be sure to cancel your registration so you do not incur a "no show" fee. You will receive an email reminder a few days before class.
