Arts Quad

On the thirtieth anniversary of the first Cornell workshop in analytical electron microscopy and John Silcox's forty-fifth anniversary at Cornell, the Kavli Institute hosted a summer school and workshop in electron microscopy.

Summer School

The Summer School (July 13-15) explored Electron Energy Loss Spectroscopy (EELS) theory, image simulation at the atomic scale, and image formation in the electron microscope.
